The Week from Saturday 7th March 2026

Mass is Early at 9am on Sunday 15th March!!

The Season of Lent:

Soon we will have entered the Season

of Lent. Lent is not just about giving something up; it is also about

doing something extra. Whatever we decide to do should be helping us “to

die a little more to self’. It is a Season of Prayer,

and prayer acquires strength when accompanied

by fasting and almsgiving. During Lent

we have our eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his journey to Jerusalem and

we journey with him. Lent is about growing in love for God, for one

another and for those most in need. As a Parish may we continue to thank

God for how far He has brought us, praying daily for a fruitful Lenten

Season. Fr Alex

Clergy Thoughts:” This weekend, we all continue our prayers for Fr Alex’s healing and our Response to the Psalm with words "Oh that today you would listen to His voice". Jesus’ words in the Gospel remind us of all that it is through our Faith through Him, ALL that we receive is through Him. Care and Health are so importantly gifts from God." Reverend David Croucher. `
