The Week from Saturday 21st March 2026

Mass is Early at 9am on Sunday 22nd March but will be at 9.45am on Palm Sunday 29th March.

The Season of Lent:

We have arrived at fifth and last week of the Season

of Lent. Lent is not just about giving something up; it is also about

doing something extra. Whatever we decide to do should be helping us “to

die a little more to self’. It is a Season of Prayer,

and prayer acquires strength when accompanied

by fasting and almsgiving. During Lent

we have our eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his journey to Jerusalem and

we journey with him. Lent is about growing in love for God, for one

another and for those most in need. As a Parish may we continue to thank

God for how far He has brought us, praying daily for a fruitful Lenten

Season. Fr Alex

Clergy Thoughts: Dear friends, as we reach the 5th Sunday of Lent, we can still be reminded that through Our Lord's Death on The Cross, we can still be sure that " With The Lord, there is mercy, and in Him is plentiful redemption."  So, let us all be confident, that one day, Jesus will, just like He did for Lazarus, restore us all for the Last Day.  Rev. David Croucher.
