Clergy Thoughts: Today, the One Holy, Apostolic, and Catholic Church celebrate the feast of two pillars of the Church, saints Peter and Paul. Both were transformed by their encounter with the Lord and united in their witness to him. Peter, a fisherman, was chosen by Jesus as leader of the apostles and the ‘rock’ on which he would build his church. Paul a pharisee was chosen by the risen Christ to bring the gospel to the Gentiles. The stories of Peter’s confirmation as leader of Jesus disciples and Paul as leader of the Gentiles, shows us that the way Jesus works is through forgiveness and reconciliation. It also reminds us that the Church is not a community of perfect disciples but of forgiven sinners unworthy of the task confided to them by the Lord. May the prayers and intercessions of saints Peter and Paul inspire us to be faithful and courageous in sharing the Gospel with others, always conscious that we carry this treasure ‘in earthen vessels. Amen! Fr Alex
June is the month to the devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Diocesan Golden Jubilee Holy Trinity parish event Sunday 27th September with Mass at 11am in St Henry Morse Church followed by international refreshments and displays in the church of the history of this parish with the many achievements we have had over the past 50 years since our Norwich Diocese was created. We are also looking for ideas from new and existing parishioners of what our parish could offer in the future. There is an Ideas Box for you to put suggestions, which can be anonymous, in the Community Room
Please support the foodbank, please see the food list in porch.
Knitters Aware
Here at Stella Maris, we provide Chaplaincy care for all those who work at sea. We need some keen knitters to assist us in this mission, by knitting woolly hats which can then be given to the seafarers and fisherman we minister to. There is absolutely no preference in colour or style. Please help us support these workers in their industry. Collection from your home address can be made or any postage fees covered. If you can assist, please let me know. Many Thanks, Deacon Rick Jones, Port Chaplain to East Anglia,
